Choosing the correct tablecloth size depends on the table’s dimensions and the desired linen drop. Use this table linen size guide to compare common round and rectangular tables with the appropriate tablecloth sizes.

A floor-length linen reaches approximately 30 inches from the tabletop to the floor. Shorter linens provide a more casual drop and leave the table legs visible.
