Rental Policies Overview
Rental rates are based on a one-day event rate, regardless of the number of hours the equipment is used.
For most orders, rental items may be delivered 1–2 days before your event and picked up the following day or next business day, based on our delivery schedule and routing. Early delivery or later pickup arranged by Simmpley Event-Party Rentals does not result in additional rental charges.
Same-Day Pickup: If equipment must be removed the same day as your event, an additional pickup fee may apply based on the requested time, location, staffing, and scheduling requirements.
Additional rental days may be arranged in advance for an additional fee and are subject to availability.
Customers are responsible for keeping all rental equipment secure and protected from weather from the time it is received until it is returned or collected.
Delivery & Pickup
Delivery and pickup are available throughout our service area. Delivery fees are calculated at $2.25 per mile to and from Justin, Texas, with a $45 minimum.
Standard delivery includes placement at the nearest safe, accessible ground-level location, such as a driveway, garage, or loading dock. Setup and breakdown are not included unless specifically listed on your order.
Stairs, elevators, high-rise buildings, long distances from the delivery vehicle, restricted access, or other conditions requiring additional labor may result in additional charges.
Rental items must be consolidated and ready for pickup in the same location and manner in which they were delivered. Additional labor charges may apply if items are not ready for pickup.
After-Hours Pickup Fees:
- 9–10 p.m.: $300
- 11 p.m.–12 a.m.: $400
- After 12 a.m.: $500
After-hours fees are in addition to applicable delivery, setup, breakdown, or other service charges.
Cleaning & Repacking
Glassware, china, and flatware must be free of food and liquids and returned in their original containers. Linens should be shaken free of food and debris. Wet or damp linens should never be placed in plastic bags.
Dollies, carts, ropes, racks, containers, and other accessories supplied with rental equipment must also be returned.
Damage & Loss
Customers are responsible for rental equipment from the time it is received until it is returned or collected.
Additional charges apply for lost, missing, damaged, excessively dirty, or improperly stored equipment. Missing items may be returned within seven days but may be subject to extended rental fees. Unreturned items will be charged at replacement cost.
Problems With Your Order
If you receive missing, damaged, or incorrect equipment, please contact us as soon as the issue is discovered so we have an opportunity to correct it.
Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required to reserve your equipment and event date. All payments are non-refundable.
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before scheduled delivery/customer pickup may receive a rental credit valid for 12 months from the original event date.
Cancellations made within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund or future credit.
Once an order has been prepared, loaded, dispatched, delivered, installed, or delivery has been attempted, up to 100% of the order total may be retained.
Weather
Weather-related cancellations are not automatically eligible for a refund or credit. When possible, eligible rental charges may be applied toward a future rental depending on the timing of the cancellation and the status of the order.
Once equipment has been delivered or installed, the order is considered fulfilled and is not eligible for a refund due to weather.
